Keating and the CTax

If you have a spare 20 minutes, you can listen to former Prime Minister Paul Keating give a long and detailed explanation as to why a Carbon Tax is an important reform and the Direct Action Plan is flawed.

I admit that I'm a fan of Keating --even as, generally, an ideological opponent.

It's worth a look, if you are interested in the CTax.  He also gives a prediction of Chinese energy demand growth, weighs in on the News of the World scandal and implications on the free press (naturally, he takes the chance to have a bash at News Corp. with invitation from Tony Jones).

Though I do note that the ALP is much more willing to trundle Keating out and take off his leash than previously, since he used to bite the Rudd govt. nearly as much as he did the Libs.
